TValue: Wishlist (“we”, “our”, or “us”) is a Shopify app developed by TValueApps. We respect your privacy and are committed to protecting the personal data of both Shopify merchants and their customers. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have.

1. Information We Collect​

When you install and use the TValue: Wishlist app, we may collect the following types of data:

For Shopify merchants​

  • Store details such as store name, store ID, contact email, and domain.
  • Shopify API access tokens (securely stored and used only to provide app functionality).
  • App usage metrics, configuration settings, and feature preferences.

For store customers (end users)​

  • Shopify customer ID (if logged in) or browser session identifier (if guest).
  • Wishlist items added by the customer.
  • Email address (only if the customer subscribes to receive wishlist reminders or restock alerts).

We do not collect any payment information or sensitive personal data.

2. How We Use the Information​

We process this data strictly to operate and improve the TValue: Wishlist service, including:

  • Enabling customers to save and manage wishlist items.
  • Sending wishlist-related notifications (e.g., restock or price-drop reminders).
  • Providing merchants with analytics about wishlist usage.
  • Improving app performance, debugging issues, and maintaining security.

We do not sell, rent, or trade any personal data with third parties. We may use aggregated, anonymized data for general usage statistics.

3. Data Storage and Retention​

All data is stored securely using Amazon Web Services (AWS) infrastructure. We retain data only as long as necessary to provide the service.

  • When a merchant uninstalls the app, all related store and customer data are automatically deleted within 48 hours.
  • Wishlist and notification data are permanently removed from our servers after deletion.

4. Data Sharing and Third Parties​

We do not share user data with external parties except:

  • Shopify Inc., as required by the Shopify API to operate within their ecosystem.
  • Amazon Web Services (AWS), as our hosting and email delivery provider.

Both partners comply with industry-standard security and privacy practices. We do not share data with advertisers or unrelated third parties.

5. Cookies and Tracking​

Our app may use cookies or local storage only to remember wishlist items for guest users and to maintain session preferences. These cookies do not contain personal or tracking information for advertising purposes.

6. Your Rights and Control​

  • Merchants can uninstall the app from their Shopify admin at any time to remove all related data.
  • Customers can request deletion of their wishlist data by contacting the merchant directly or emailing us at privacy@tvaluewishlist.com.
  • You may contact us at any time to request access, correction, or deletion of data we hold.

8. Updates to This Policy​

We may update this Privacy Policy periodically to reflect product improvements or regulatory changes. When we do, we will update the “Last updated” date above. Continued use of the app after such updates constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.

This policy complies with Shopify App Privacy Guidelines, AWS SES Production Review Requirements, and standard data transparency principles (GDPR / CAN-SPAM).
